Job summary

Your Way Living is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our services across Newcastle, the Hunter, the Central Coast and Sydney. The role centers on building referral networks with support coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, plan managers and allied health teams to drive sustainable growth.

You will apply your understanding of NDIS pathways and participant referrals to identify opportunities, represent the company at industry events and work with the intake team to convert

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in building professional referral networks within health or disability sectors.
• Proven track record of generating referrals/placements through partnerships.
• Strong understanding of NDIS plans, funding categories and participant referral pathways.
• Valid Australian driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with support coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, plan managers and allied health professionals.
• Generate referrals for SIL, ILO and community support services across Newcastle, Hunter, Central Coast and Sydney.
• Represent Your Way Living at industry events, expos and provider network meetings.
• Identify opportunities to expand into new areas and service types.
• Collaborate with intake team to ensure inquiries are followed up quickly and well.
• Track referral activity and report on growth.

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to grow Your Way Living across Newcastle, the Hunter, the Central Coast and Sydney. We already have homes and participants in these regions and we're expanding, so this role is about building the referral relationships that make that growth happen - with support coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, plan managers and allied health teams. Experience in the NDIS or broader disability sector matters more to us than a traditional sales background. Support coordinators, intake and referral officers, plan managers, allied health professionals with a referral network, and people who have done partnerships, engagement or business development at another provider are all well suited to this - you already understand the participants, the plans and the people making referral decisions, and that is the hard part to teach. You can be based in Newcastle, the Central Coast or Sydney, and work remotely, hybrid or on-site.
