Job summary

Bridgit, an Australian fintech lender, seeks a Business Development Manager in Brisbane to drive new broker-focused opportunities and expand Bridgit’s mortgage broker network. You’ll partner with aggregators, advise on loan structures, and deliver exceptional service to clients and brokers alike.

The role targets a proven mortgage lending and sales record, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A current Australian driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Residential mortgage lending and sales experience with proven sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, credit criteria, and lending structures.
• Relationship-first mindset for building partnerships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; confident presenting to groups.
• Collaborative, solutions-focused, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Australian driver's license (non-restrictive).

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of mortgage brokers and collaborative with aggregator partners.
• Sales Excellence: Provide expert guidance on loan scenarios and lending structures; represent Bridgit at broker and aggregator functions.
• Performance & Reporting: Achieve settlement volume targets and KPIs; track and report on sales performance.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Partner with internal teams to streamline broker processes and improve the broker experience.

The role of Business Development Manager is to drive new business opportunities and expand Bridgit’s network of mortgage brokers. You’ll play a pivotal role in building long‑lasting partnerships, collaborating with our aggregator partners, and providing expert guidance on loan structures to ensure our clients receive exceptional service. What you’ll do

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of mortgage brokers, fostering trust and long‑term partnerships.
• Collaborate with aggregator partners to maximise opportunities and ensure alignment on mutual goals.

Sales Excellence:

• Provide expert guidance on loan scenarios and lending structures, acting as a trusted advisor to brokers.
• Represent Bridgit at broker and aggregator functions, showcasing our value proposition and expanding our network.

Performance & Reporting:

• Achieve settlement volume targets and agreed KPIs while maintaining a focus on exceptional customer service.
• Track and report on sales performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

• Partner with internal teams to streamline processes, improve the broker experience, and deliver on client needs.

What we are looking for

• Demonstrated background in residential mortgage lending and sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, credit criteria, and lending structures.
• A relationship first mindset with the ability to build and nurture meaningful partnerships.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in group presentations.
• Collaborative and solutions‑focused, with strong attention to detail and a drive to deliver outcomes.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• A current non-restrictive Australian Driver’s License is required.
