Job summary

Westpac is expanding its Emerging Corporates team in Adelaide, SA. The Business Development Manager will identify and convert new business opportunities, leveraging direct client engagement and broker channels to grow our commercial lending portfolio.

Based in Adelaide with flexible working arrangements, the role focuses on structuring complex lending solutions and building trusted relationships with customers and partners to support their ambitions.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial and corporate lending, including cashflow lending and credit assessment.
• Ability to structure and deliver complex lending solutions for commercial customers.
• Proven success acquiring new business and developing lasting customer relationships.

What’s the role?

Growth creates opportunity, and that's exactly why we're expanding our Emerging Corporates team in South Australia.

Based in Adelaide / Tarndanya, Kaurna Country, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and converting new business opportunities through direct customer engagement and third party broker channels. You'll build trusted relationships with customers, referral partners and brokers while helping businesses access lending solutions that support their ambitions.

This is a role where your commercial lending expertise and relationship building capability will shine. You'll use your knowledge of corporate and commercial banking to structure solutions, win new customers and contribute to the continued growth of our Emerging Corporates business.

This is a permanent full time opportunity with flexible working arrangements available.

What do I need?

• Strong experience in commercial and corporate lending, including cashflow lending and credit assessment


• Ability to structure and deliver complex lending solutions for commercial customers


• Proven success acquiring new business and developing lasting customer relationships


• Established networks across referral partners, introducers and broker channels


• Ability to identify broader banking opportunities, including home lending needs
