Job summary

Westpac Group in Adelaide is seeking a Business Development Manager for Emerging Corporates. You will identify and convert new opportunities, engaging directly with customers and broker channels to build trusted relationships and structure lending solutions.

Based in South Australia with flexible working arrangements, you will leverage corporate banking know-how to grow the Emerging Corporates portfolio and win new customers while expanding networks with brokers and referral partners.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in commercial and corporate lending, including cashflow lending and credit assessment.
• Ability to structure and deliver complex lending solutions for commercial customers.
• Proven success acquiring new business and developing lasting customer relationships.
• Established networks across referral partners, introducers and broker channels.
• Ability to identify broader banking opportunities, including home lending needs.

What's the role?

Growth creates opportunity, and that's exactly why we're expanding our Emerging Corporates team in South Australia. Based in Adelaide / Tarndanya, Kaurna Country, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and converting new business opportunities through direct customer engagement and third party broker channels. You'll build trusted relationships with customers, referral partners and brokers while helping businesses access lending solutions that support their ambitions. This is a role where your commercial lending expertise and relationship building capability will shine. You'll use your knowledge of corporate and commercial banking to structure solutions, win new customers and contribute to the continued growth of our Emerging Corporates business. This is a permanent full time opportunity with flexible working arrangements available.
