Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in business development, marketing or bid coordination in professional services.
• Experience developing pitches and proposals for new work.
• Excellent writing and attention to detail, with strong editing/formatting skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and build trusted relationships with senior colleagues.
• Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Strong project management skills with ability to juggle priorities and deadlines.
• Familiarity with social media, website updates and SEO is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate responses to tenders and new business opportunities, including researching and drafting proposals.
• Develop marketing collateral such as credentials, pitches and presentations.
• Maintain and enrich the firm’s materials library with case studies and success stories.
• Coordinate internal and external communications, including client publications.

We provide clients with strategic counsel across the public affairs, corporate and financial communications and investor relations disciplines.

About the role

This is a full‑time opportunity with room to shape the role around your skills and interests. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the firm’s responses to competitive tenders and new business opportunities, including researching, writing, designing and editing proposals
• Developing quality marketing collateral, including credentials documents, pitches and presentations
• Maintaining and strengthening the firm’s library of materials, including case studies, work samples and success stories
• Coordinating internal and external communications, including the firm’s suite of client only publications

There’s also plenty of scope to apply your marketing skills and bring fresh thinking to how we promote and position the firm.

About you

You don’t have to tick every box, but you’ll bring a strong mix of the following:

• 4+ years’ experience in business development, marketing or bid coordination, ideally within a professional services firm
• Experience developing pitches, proposals, tenders and other business development materials
• Excellent writing skills, with an eye for detail, including proof‑reading and formatting
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior colleagues
• Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and business development outcomes
• Project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong digital familiarity including with social media, website posting and SEO (desirable)

This position will be based out of our Sydney office. We prefer in‑person working four days a week.
