Job description

In this role, you will contribute to the effective governance, business management and operational support functions of the Branch. Working under limited direction, you will provide professional administrative and governance support, coordinate business activities, manage corporate records and assist with the delivery of key branch priorities.

The position offers a diverse range of responsibilities and is suited to an individual who enjoys working across multiple business functions, engaging with stakeholders and identifying opportunities to improve business processes and service delivery.

As part of a collaborative team, you will support the implementation of governance activities, coordinate tasking and correspondence, maintain records management compliance and contribute to branch-wide business operations. You may also provide executive support services when required and assist with security, reporting and corporate management activities.

About our Team

The NATC Executive & Support (Ex&S) Team provides direct support to DGNATC in overseeing the acquisition and sustainment of critical aviation training, aviation support and commons capabilities.

NATC comprises personnel located across Canberra, Nowra, East Sale and Melbourne and includes:

  • NATC Executive & Support.
  • Air Training Systems Program Office.
  • Aviation Support Systems Program Office.

Located at Brindabella Park, Canberra, the Ex&S Team plays an integral role in enabling Branch operations, coordinating strategic activity and maintaining effective governance arrangements. The team works closely with the Office of Head Joint Aviation Systems Division and operates in a dynamic, high-tempo environment where collaboration, initiative and professionalism are highly valued.
