Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to join the Financial Crime Transformation Program (AML Operations) in Melbourne. You’ll bridge business strategy, regulatory obligations, and technology execution, mapping end-to-end value chains and challenging the status quo to protect customers and communities.

You will collaborate with risk, regulatory, and IT teams, driving end-to-end analysis, UAT, and delivery readiness in a hybrid, permanent role with flexible working options across

Qualifications

• Analytical problem-solver with ability to connect regulatory frameworks to banking operations.
• Proven ability to run workshops, elicit requirements, and document user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in value chain analysis, process mapping, and re-engineering to reduce waste.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, backlog refinement, and UAT support.

Responsibilities

• Shaping the Future State: document As-Is and To-Be processes, streamline workflows.
• Eliciting & translating requirements from business, risk, and tech partners.
• Designing integrated solutions with architects, data teams, and SMEs.
• Ensuring delivery traceability from strategy to user stories and rollout.
• Championing analysis standards and sharing best practices within the BA community.
