Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking an experienced analytics leader for FC&FO Data & Analytics (AML) to drive the end-to-end monitoring architecture. You will guide a team of analytics specialists, tune detection rules, and translate regulatory requirements into high-performing surveillance models.

The role partners with 2LoD, investigations, tech, and data teams to deliver data-driven insights and governance. A strong AML/CTF background and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading analytics professionals in regulated environments.
• Deep knowledge of AML/CTF and sanctions screening.
• Experience with enterprise financial crime platforms and alert handling.
• Proficiency with SQL, data platforms, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing analytics team within FC/FO and risk.
• Oversee detection tuning across AML monitoring, screening, and screening engines.
• Collaborate with 2LoD, investigations, technology and data teams.
• Drive analytics transformation including platform upgrades and data pipelines.
