Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst.

• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Telecommunications experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of business processes, analyst frameworks and requirements methodologies.
• Ability to work autonomously with a small development team.

• Specify data objects and information flows aligned with business needs.
• Produce BA deliverables such as BRDs, Specification Docs, Test Plans and Support Scripts.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and document process flows.
• Provide analysis of root causes to identify options for consideration.
• Work in an agile SCRUM team and collaborate with the Business Improvement manager.

JOB TITLE: Business Analyst

JOB LOCATION: Belfast – Hybrid working

TERMS: Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity to join our Business Improvement department supporting the delivery of projects and programmes by way of investigating business functions, business processes, data structures and information flows.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting the department in the delivery of projects and programmes by way of investigating business functions, business processes, data structures, information flows, etc.
• Investigations of operational issues and problems and seeking effective business solutions through improvements in specified business areas or systems
• Specifying data, data objects and information flows that align with business needs
• Production of business analysis deliverables using relevant documentation styles such as Business Requirements Doc, Specification Doc, Test Plans, Support Scripts, etc.
• Facilitation of workshops and meetings for stakeholders to gather requirements and document process flows
• Colleague assistance by way of analysis of underlying issues and their root causes to identify available options for consideration

Additional Responsibilities

• Working in an agile team with SCRUM methodology
• Work with the Business Improvement manager to ensure that a level of best practice within the business is defined, documented, and implemented.

Experience

• A proven background in delivering projects through Agile and Waterfall
• Highly Proficient with MS Office Applications
• Experience working within Telecommunications is advantageous
