Job summary

Fibrus Networks Ltd invites a skilled Business Analyst to join our Business Improvement team in Belfast on a hybrid basis. You will investigate business functions, processes, data structures and information flows to deliver practical improvements and clear BA deliverables.

You will facilitate workshops, document requirements, and support agile SCRUM projects while aligning solutions with business needs. Experience in telecoms is advantageous and MS Office proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience delivering projects with Agile and Waterfall.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Experience in telecommunications is advantageous.
• Knowledge of business processes and requirements methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Investigate business functions, processes and data flows to propose improvements.
• Produce BA deliverables such as BRDs, specifications, test plans.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather requirements and map processes.
• Analyze root causes and define options for improvement.
• Work in an agile SCRUM team with a Business Improvement manager oversight.

JOB TITLE: Business Analyst

JOB LOCATION: Belfast – Hybrid working

TERMS: Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity to join our Business Improvement department supporting the delivery of projects and programmes by way of investigating business functions, business processes, data structures and information flows.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting the department in the delivery of projects and programmes by way of investigating business functions, business processes, data structures, information flows, etc.
• Investigations of operational issues and problems and seeking effective business solutions through improvements in specified business areas or systems
• Specifying data, data objects and information flows that align with business needs
• Production of business analysis deliverables using relevant documentation styles such as Business Requirements Doc, Specification Doc, Test Plans, Support Scripts, etc.
• Facilitation of workshops and meetings for stakeholders to gather requirements and document process flows
• Colleague assistance by way of analysis of underlying issues and their root causes to identify available options for consideration

Additional Responsibilities

• Working in an agile team with SCRUM methodology
• Work with the Business Improvement manager to ensure that a level of best practice within the business is defined, documented, and implemented.

Experience

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst
• A proven background in delivering projects through Agile and Waterfall
• Highly Proficient with MS Office Applications
• Experience working within Telecommunications is advantageous

Essential

• Knowledge of business processes, analyst frameworks and business requirements methodologies
• Ability to work autonomously and with a small development team.
• Strong analytical skills
• Business / Systems analysis qualification
