Job summary

Fibrus Networks Ltd in Belfast is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join the Business Improvement department, supporting project and programme delivery by examining business functions, processes and data flows.

You will produce BA deliverables, facilitate stakeholder workshops, analyse root causes, and propose effective solutions within an agile and waterfall environment. Collaboration with a small team is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience delivering projects through Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience in Telecommunications is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the department in the delivery of projects and programmes by investigating business functions, business processes, data structures and information flows.
• Investigations of operational issues and problems and seeking effective business solutions through improvements in specified business areas or systems
• Specifying data, data objects and information flows that align with business needs
• Production of business analysis deliverables using documentation styles such as BRD, Specification Doc, Test Plans, Support Scripts
• Facilitation of workshops and meetings for stakeholders to gather requirements and document process flows
• Colleague assistance by analysing underlying issues and root causes to identify options for consideration
• Working in an agile team with SCRUM methodology
• Work with the Business Improvement manager to implement best practices

JOB TITLE: Business Analyst

JOB LOCATION: Belfast – Hybrid working

TERMS: Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity to join our Business Improvement department supporting the delivery of projects and programmes by way of investigating business functions, business processes, data structures and information flows.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting the department in the delivery of projects and programmes by way of investigating business functions, business processes, data structures, information flows, etc.
• Investigations of operational issues and problems and seeking effective business solutions through improvements in specified business areas or systems
• Specifying data, data objects and information flows that align with business needs
• Production of business analysis deliverables using relevant documentation styles such as Business Requirements Doc, Specification Doc, Test Plans, Support Scripts, etc.
• Facilitation of workshops and meetings for stakeholders to gather requirements and document process flows
• Colleague assistance by way of analysis of underlying issues and their root causes to identify available options for consideration

Additional Responsibilities

• Working in an agile team with SCRUM methodology
• Work with the Business Improvement manager to ensure that a level of best practice within the business is defined, documented, and implemented.

Experience

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst
• A proven background in delivering projects through Agile and Waterfall
• Highly Proficient with MS Office Applications
• Experience working within Telecommunications is advantageous

• Knowledge of business processes, analyst frameworks and business requirements methodologies
• Ability to work autonomously and with a small development team.
