Job summary

Selective Recruitment Pty Ltd is assisting a Perth-based firm to hire an Accountant - Business Advisory in the Perth CBD. You will gain exposure to diverse clients and build client relationships from day one.

The role offers a clear career pathway to Senior Accountant and beyond, CA/CPA study support, and optional work-from-home days. You will work with modern technology and a collaborative culture in a local firm with national/global connections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' experience in tax and business services in public practice.
• CA or CPA completed, in progress, or willingness to start.
• Australian PR or Citizenship required.
• Proficient with Xero, XPM, MYOB and QuickBooks (or similar).
• Accurate and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS for a diverse client portfolio.
• Bookkeeping, reconciliations and month-end accounting.
• Completing payroll tax and other compliance obligations on time.
• Liaise with clients, the ATO and other stakeholders.
• Manage your own workflow and deadlines.
• Use technology to improve efficiency and processes.
