Job summary

Victorian Government drives safer, reliable transport infrastructure across Melbourne. This role focuses on land, asset and facilities management within the Bus Services domain, requiring analytical thinking and strong communication with stakeholders to ensure outcomes.

You will coordinate external providers, apply data to decisions, and support business continuity while adapting to changing priorities. The position is based in Melbourne CBD and Inner Metro suburbs with pre-employment checks

• Extensive experience in bus industry maintenance and operations with knowledge of risk and safety management practices.
• Experience developing data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; familiarity with Python and SQL.

Bus Services is a branch in the Greater Metro Division and is responsible for ensuring the provision of safe, reliable and accessible bus services and infrastructure through effective management of commercial and contractual arrangements with opreators, suppliers and industry partners

Qualifications and experience

You’llbring:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, asset management or a related technical field (mandatory).
• Extensive experience in bus industry maintenance and operations, with knowledge of risk and safety management practices (mandatory).
• Experience developing data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and using programming languages such as Python, SQL
