Job summary

Aston Homes is seeking an experienced Building Supervisor to manage multiple residential projects across Melbourne's Western suburbs. This hands-on role requires coordinating trades, scheduling activities, and ensuring projects progress on time, within budget and to high-quality standards.

You will oversee safety, site presentation and project delivery, maintaining strong communication with suppliers, office staff and customers while upholding WH&S requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Must have previous Building Supervisor/Site Supervisor experience in volume residential construction.
• Strong understanding of the residential building process.
• Excellent trade and contractor management skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple builds and competing priorities.

Job description

As a Building Supervisor for Aston Homes, you will be responsible for managing multiple builds concurrently and ensuring each project progresses efficiently from commencement through to completion. This is a hands‑on role responsible for overseeing multiple residential builds throughout Melbourne's Western suburbs. You will play a key role in ensuring homes are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality.

Key responsibilities

Supervising multiple residential builds across Melbourne's Western suburbs

Coordinating and managing trades and contractors

Scheduling trades, materials and site activities

Monitoring construction programs, budgets and deadlines

Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring quality standards are maintained

Ensuring sites are safe, clean and well presented

About you

Previous experience as a Building Supervisor/Site Supervisor within volume residential construction

A strong understanding of the residential building process

A strong eye for quality and attention to detail

The ability to work autonomously while being part of a wider team
