Job summary

Precise Air Group is seeking a Building Performance Advisory Specialist to join our Digital Services team in NSW. You will work with customers to turn building data and analytics into practical improvements across energy, asset, and operational performance, leading technical discussions and prioritising opportunities while staying hands-on with BMS and analytics tools.

You will develop optimisation roadmaps, investigate faults, and communicate clear recommendations, reports, and business cases,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in building performance, energy optimisation, BMS, building services, or related field.
• Strong BMS capability including trend analysis, fault investigation and tuning.
• Understanding of HVAC systems, building services, controls and sensors.
• Experience with FDD, analytics, IoT and smart-building platforms.
• Ability to translate complex findings into clear recommendations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer building performance reviews, optimisation workshops, and technical discussions.
• Analyse BMS, analytics, energy, asset and operational data to identify performance issues and opportunities.
• Develop practical energy optimisation strategies, action plans and roadmaps.
• Investigate BMS faults, trends and control performance across common platforms.
• Undertake approved BMS setpoint, scheduling, tuning and control-strategy changes.
• Establish practical baselines and track energy, cost and performance outcomes.
• Develop asset lifecycle and renewal recommendations using condition, maintenance and performance information.
• Prepare customer-facing performance reports, optimisation plans, business cases and presentations.
• Coordinate technical requirements with regional operations, project managers, service teams, and contractors.
