Job summary

Lake Macquarie City Council is seeking a Customer Liaison and Lodgement Officer (Building) to join our Building Team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, assess and process lodgement-related applications, and guide applicants through the building process.

You will work with Building Surveyors and specialists to ensure services are delivered efficiently and in line with legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent demonstrated administrative experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing and processing administrative documentation and applications.

Responsibilities

• Review and process building and development-related applications for lodgement acceptance.
• Provide guidance on lodgement requirements and respond to customer inquiries.
• Support internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant processing.
