Job description

Due to an influx of new projects, we are seeking technical professionals with strong knowledge of building services (mechanical, electrical, fire, and hydraulic), ESM, or demonstrated experience conducting asset data capture in commercial, industrial or healthcare facilities.

About the role.

As a Building Assessor, you will travel to a range of sites across Australia and New Zealand, collecting data using tablets, 3D imaging cameras or smartphones, on the condition various commercial facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identify and record data on the type, location and condition of relevant mechanical/electrical/fire/hydraulic building systems, fixtures and building fabrics (cladding, walls, floor coverings, ceilings).
• Provide thorough and accurate data capture, ensuring data is upload as directed to minimise risk of data loss.
• Capture clear images of defects, hazards, assets, and apply correct condition rating.
• Actively engage with the team to maintain accuracy and verify data capture quality.

Ideally you will have:

• Demonstrated experience with inspections/data capture projects across large commercial buildings or multisite projects.
• Access to a reliable vehicle, a valid Australian driver's license, and willingness to travel.
• Exceptional level of attention to detail and proven ability to capture high quality data on a range of assets in a commercial environment.
• Proficient with the use and basic troubleshooting of smartphones, laptops, tablets and cameras.
• Professional demeanor and the capability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
