Mayday Recruitment is partnering with a leading insurer to appoint an On-Road Home Assessor in Western Sydney. You will visit residential properties, assess damage from insured events, determine repair needs and prepare detailed scopes of work.

This role manages a territory, works autonomously, and supports customers through the claims process. The position offers a $97,000 - $106,000 package (inclusive of super) with a company vehicle, bonus opportunity, and provided phone/laptop.

Qualifications

• Background in building, construction, estimating, site supervision or trades.
• Strong residential building knowledge.
• Experience preparing or reviewing scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite property assessments.
• Identify building damage and repair requirements.
• Prepare scopes of work and repair estimates.
• Review claim documentation, photos and reports.
• Manage claims through to completion.
• Liaise with customers, builders and repair partners.
• Negotiate repair outcomes and costs; ensure repairs are completed within timeframes.

The Role

As an On-Road Home Assessor, you'll attend residential properties, assess damage resulting from insured events, determine repair requirements and prepare detailed scopes of work. You'll manage your own territory, work autonomously and play a key role in helping customers through the claims process.
