MAYDAY Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading national insurer to recruit an On-Road Home Assessor in the Home Claims team. You will attend residential properties across Western Sydney to assess damage, prepare scopes of work, and manage claims from start to finish.

Ideally you come from a building, construction, estimating, or insurance assessing background, with strong communication, organisational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Strong residential building knowledge.
• Experience preparing or reviewing scopes of work.
• Ability to identify building defects and damage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite property assessments.
• Identify building damage and repair requirements.
• Prepare scopes of work and repair estimates.
• Review claim documentation, photos and reports.
• Manage claims through to completion.
• Liaise with customers, builders and repair partners.
• Negotiate repair outcomes and costs.
• Ensure repairs are completed within agreed timeframes.

MAYDAY Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading national insurer to recruit an On-Road Home Assessor within their Home Claims team.

The Role

As an On-Road Home Assessor, you'll attend residential properties across the Western Sydney region to assess damage, determine repair requirements and prepare scopes of work following home insurance claims.

You'll work closely with customers, builders, repairers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes and a positive customer experience throughout the claims journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite property assessments
• Identify building damage and repair requirements
• Prepare scopes of work and repair estimates
• Review claim documentation, photos and reports
• Manage claims through to completion
• Liaise with customers, builders and repair partners
