Job2Go Pty Ltd is hiring a dedicated Chef for a busy café in Quakers Hill, NSW. The role requires crafting breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes to high standards and assisting with menu development.

You will manage kitchen tasks, monitor quality, and uphold food safety across a fast-paced service environment. With a Diploma in Hospitality and at least two years’ experience, you’ll work collaboratively with front‑of‑house staff to deliver excellent dining experiences while controlling costs and

Qualifications

• Diploma of Hospitality Management is required.
• Minimum two years of Chef experience in cafe/brunch/dining.
• Knowledge of breakfast, brunch and lunch preparation techniques.
• Strong understanding of food safety and safe handling practices.
• Ability to manage tasks in a busy kitchen and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes to menu standards.
• Assist with menu planning and recipe development.
• Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency in taste and portion sizes.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with ordering kitchen supplies.
• Inspect ingredients and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Monitor kitchen costs and minimize food waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to support cafe operations and training.
