Job summary

Seven West Media seeks a Broadcast Technologist to support live TV and pre-recorded shows at our Watson, ACT facility. You will report to the Technical Services Supervisor and enjoy on-site parking.

You’ll assist news and production teams, perform fault finding, maintain equipment, and install/adjust systems per project plans, while meeting deadlines and communicating complex tech clearly.

Qualifications

Interest in technology with aptitude for logic problem solving.
Able to work to deadlines.
Ability to articulate complex technology scenarios affecting production.

Responsibilities

Provide support to news and production teams via fault finding of broadcast equipment and workflows.
Follow preventative maintenance schedules including patching of equipment.
Install equipment and reconfigure according to line drawings and project plans.
