Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment – Burpengary QLD seeks a mechanically minded Site Engineer for a Brisbane-based contract in water and wastewater infrastructure. You will support delivery, coordinate site activities, ensure QA and safety, and work with project teams to meet program targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years' Site/Project Engineering experience.
• Experience in water, wastewater, civil or infrastructure projects is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of engineering and construction drawings.
• Experience with QA, ITPs, RFIs and site documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering and construction drawings for buildability.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site activities.
• Assist with procurement and tracking of materials and equipment.
• Manage QA documentation including ITPs, ITCs and inspections.
• Raise and manage RFIs and technical queries.
• Assist with project programming, cost tracking and reporting.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure works are delivered to specification.
• Liaise with design teams, consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Provide hands-on engineering support during construction and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental requirements.
