Job summary

Our client, a national courier delivery company, is seeking a permanent, full-time Delivery Performance Manager to oversee onboarding, retention and performance of a large team in the Brisbane area. Based in Wacol, this role runs 5 days a week from 5am to 1pm with a base salary of 85,000 AUD plus super and a 15,000 AUD car allowance.

You will lead performance reviews, ensure safety/compliance, drive process improvements and support staff through training and development.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar operational role in the transport or delivery sector.
• Ability to lead a team while building strong relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility with regular shift hours including weekend work.
• Experience with performance management, budget tracking and process improvements.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements in transport or delivery.
• Sound IT skills including MS Office and FMS software.
• Problem solving, deadline driven and proactive.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Brisbane suburbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding, retention and performance of a team of Delivery Professionals in the Brisbane area.
• Lead performance reviews and implement strategies to drive outstanding performance.
• Oversee safety and compliance requirements for the team.
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and contribute to continuous improvement of the fleet.
• Provide full training and handover; support and guidance for staff.
• Require individual to have reliable vehicle, licence and Police Clearance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders during a busy period and manage leave accordingly.
• Support career progression and development with appropriate guidance.
