Job summary

Australian Unity seeks a General Manager for St Luke's Green, a boutique 60-room Residential Aged Care home in Brisbane. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive resident outcomes, governance, and financial sustainability while shaping the future of care within a trusted wellbeing organisation.

Based at Woolloongabba, you will champion person-centred care, workforce performance and community engagement, ensuring compliant operations and high-quality experiences for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Residential Aged Care operations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operational performance of St Luke's Green Residential Aged Care
• Create exceptional experiences for residents, families and the broader community
• Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards and all regulatory obligations
• Lead workforce capability, engagement and retention initiatives
• Develop, coach and empower high-performing leaders and teams
• Deliver sustainable occupancy, financial, quality and workforce outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement, risk management and governance activities
• Strengthen relationships with residents, families, employees and community stakeholders
• Foster connection across the residential aged care home and broader St Luke's Green community
• Champion a culture of accountability, wellbeing, safety and person-centred care
