Job summary

Kyogle Council is seeking a Skilled Labourer – Bridges and Concrete to support the construction and maintenance of bridges, footpaths, and other concrete infrastructure. You will work within a team, performing concreting, carpentry, and plant operation duties under the Overseer, delivering safe, efficient results across the Kyogle Local Government Area.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete works, carpentry, bridge maintenance, or civil construction activities.
• Physically capable of demanding manual labour.
• Committed to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Undertake manual labour tasks across bridge construction and maintenance.
• Construct and dismantle formwork for concrete structures.
• Place, finish, and maintain concrete works to required standards.
• Operate council plant and equipment with appropriate licences.
• Follow Work Health and Safety procedures and complete timesheets accurately.
• Promote safe work practices and positive community relations.
