Job summary

Complete Staff Solutions is seeking a capable and experienced trade carpenter for a bridge maintenance team based from a depot at Waratah, NSW. The role involves carpentry on timber bridges and concrete structures, with work at heights required. 90% of duties involve away-from-depot work, including overnight stays for a week.

Accommodation is provided and allowances apply. Start ASAP with a 6-month initial duration and potential for further work.

Qualifications

• Carpentry certificate or trade qualification (Cert III in Carpentry) or equivalent.
• At least 12 months experience as a Construction Carpenter.
• Current WHS White Card is essential.
• Working at Heights ticket is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry on timber bridges and concrete structures for maintenance.
• Work with hand and power tools and assist with formwork and concreting tasks.
• Carry out painting and cleaning of bridges and drainage infrastructure.
