The City of Gold Coast is seeking a Bridges Worker at the Carrara Depot to join a team maintaining and constructing concrete and timber bridge structures and major culverts. You will perform specialised tasks, support safety practices and work collaboratively with team members on site.

Requirements include a Certificate III in Civil Construction (or equivalent), a valid MR licence, and a White Card, with a focus on physical fitness and effective teamwork in a dynamic public works environment.

Formación

• Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• MR Class Drivers Licence (Unrestricted) is mandatory.
• General Construction Induction Card (White) is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Maintenance of structural concrete and timber bridge components.
• Lay and finish concrete for kerb and channel, footpaths, bikeways related to bridge works.
• Participate in training programs to increase skills and knowledge.
• Participate in Toolbox meetings.
• Operate minor equipment and machinery used in various works tasks.
