Job summary

Baiada Poultry is seeking two Breeder Farm Managers for our Tamworth operations. The role focuses on maximizing productivity and livability on breeder farms while maintaining Baiada standards and safety.

You will report to the Regional Livestock Manager and collaborate with farm staff, contractors, and clerical teams. Key responsibilities include leading operations, managing quality and safety programs, supervising staff, ensuring environmental compliance, and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Previous experience in livestock management.
• Current driver’s license; ability to drive a tractor where applicable.
• Proven skills in management of personnel.
• A sound knowledge of quality systems, WHS and CoR procedures and an understanding of environmental impact.
• Experience in the poultry industry, breeder farming.

We are currently seeking two highly committed and experienced Breeder Farm Managers to join our team at our Farms in Tamworth.

The position of Breeder Farm Manager is primarily responsible for achieving maximum productivity and livability from breeder farms and ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner and adhere to Baiada standards and systems.

The position reports to the Regional Livestock Manager and has direct working relationships with the cleanout crew, the maintenance staff, Baiada contractors, other breeder farm staff and relevant livestock clerical staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience in livestock management
• Current driver’s license (ability to drive a tractor where applicable)
• Proven skills in management of personnel
• A sound knowledge of quality systems, WHS and CoR procedures and an understanding of how day to day activities could impact on the environment.
• Experience in the poultry industry, specifically breeder farming
