Job summary

Baiada Poultry is seeking a Farm Manager to lead day-to-day farm operations across our poultry sites in Australia. The role focuses on achieving production targets while upholding animal welfare, biosecurity, safety, and company standards.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, hands-on management, and the ability to coordinate staff, ensure WHS compliance, and maintain accurate records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in poultry or livestock farm management.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of animal welfare and biosecurity practices.
• Ability to work independently and make operational decisions.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and record keeping.
• Understanding of WHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily farm operations and production performance.
• Manage, train, and supervise farm staff.
• Ensure animal welfare, biosecurity, and food safety standards are met.
• Monitor flock health, environmental conditions, and farm performance.
• Implement and follow company procedures and policies.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance, cleaning, and equipment operation.
• Ensure WHS compliance and liaise with management and veterinary teams.
