Job summary

Courtyard Cafe in Narre Warren, VIC is seeking an experienced Cook for a permanent full-time role at 38 hours per week. You will prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes, ensuring quality and presentation while maintaining food safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a cook in a cafe/restaurant.
• AQF Certificate IV/III in Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency with commercial kitchen equipment and cooking methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and other menu items.
• Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality.
• Prepare ingredients and manage portioning and seasoning.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills and maintain proper cooking temperatures.
