Job summary

AccorHotel in Melbourne is seeking a Breakfast Cook to support the seamless operation of the kitchen by delivering efficient service at breakfast buffets.

You will prepare buffet items, maintain a clean, hygienic environment, manage stock and communicate with management to forecast requirements. This role offers opportunities to develop within Accor and advance in a global hospitality family.

Qualifications

Job description

As Breakfast Cook you will support the seamless running of the kitchen, by providing a highly efficient and effective service. After all Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

Job Description

You will be responsible for food preparation for our breakfast buffet. You will be required to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, whilst ensuring a high-quality product. In this role you will be responsible for strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. You will be responsible for organising the Breakfast Buffet section and will need to ensure it runs efficiently and productively. You will be required to monitor stock daily, and advise Management of product requirements in advance.

Qualifications

• You have creativity and flair and demonstrate a high standard in food preparation.
• You have well developed organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• You are a team player with good communication, interpersonal and engagement skills.
• Previous experience working in a commercial hotel kitchen will be advantageous.
