Job summary

Village Roadshow Theme Parks is hiring a Kitchen Steward at Sea World Resort, Main Beach on the Gold Coast. This casual role offers a diverse kitchen environment where cleanliness, organisation and teamwork keep our guest experiences sparkling each day.

You’ll wash dishes, maintain hygiene standards and work with a friendly team across early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays. Competitive hourly rates apply, with junior rates possible.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a busy, high-volume commercial kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, cutlery and large service equipment.
• Maintain walls, benches and floors and keep bins cleared and organised.
• Operate commercial dishwashers and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Sanitise surfaces to the highest hygiene standards.
• Dismantle and clean specialised kitchen equipment.
• Work with a team to ensure efficiency and quality.
