Job description

We are seeking an experienced Branch Supervisor to join our team at our Campbellfield location in Victoria. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and success of our branch. As Branch Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch management, including staff supervision, customer service excellence, inventory management, and counter sales. You will lead a team of delivery drivers and sales representatives and ensure our branch operates at the highest standards whilst maintaining our reputation for quality and service. This role is based on-site at our Campbellfield VIC 3061 location.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise branch staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure a high-performing team
• Oversee daily branch operations including opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and coordinate with head office on ordering and stock rotation
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations across all branch activities
• Drive sales performance and achieve branch targets through effective sales strategies and team motivation
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly
• Manage the trade sales counter
• Assist drivers with loading Vans and packing orders
• Manage the warehouse and ensure the warehouse is properly maintained
• Assist with picking and packing orders

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within retail, automotive, or trades-related environments
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop team members effectively
• Excellent customer service skills and a demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of automotive products, particularly batteries, is highly desirable
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Current driver's licence is essential
• Forklift Licence is essential
• Fit and able to lift up to 30kgs
