Job summary

HCF is seeking a Branch Member Consultant to be the face of Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund at the Tweed Heads branch. The role is full-time, based in the Tweed Heads location, with salary starting at $66K plus super and incentives.

You will engage members through needs-based selling of health, life, and other insurance products, deliver outstanding service, and help maintain accurate membership records. Training in Sydney CBD with travel arranged will support your transition.

Qualifications

• Experience in needs-based selling and customer service.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and confidently.
• Comfort with learning and using computer systems.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Branch Member Consultant at HCF, you’ll be the face of Australia’s largest Not-For-Profit Health Fund! Your personal touch will help guide our members in making informed healthcare choices.

Location & Hours

This full-time position is based in our HCF Tweed Heads Branch.

Flexibility

We offer one Family & Friends day and 3 additional flexible leave days each year, giving you more freedom to recharge, manage personal commitments, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Training

Please note there will be one week of training in our Head Office in Sydney CBD (commencing 19th October or 30th November) with travel and accommodation arranged in advance. This training has been designed to help support you and your transition into this role. You will also be provided with consistent, ongoing coaching and support to help you succeed and build confidence.

Salary

Salaries start at $66K plus super plus incentive!

Key Responsibilities

• Embrace face-to-face and telephone needs-based selling, highlighting our diverse range of health, life, and other insurance products. This may also include opportunities to broaden your business development skills outside of the HCF branch and in your local community.
• Ensure resolutions to our members’ problems that go beyond expectations.
• Maintain the accuracy of our membership information in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
