Job summary

Hooker & Heijden is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the Queensland commercial insurance operation from South Brisbane. You will drive growth, oversee a four-person team, and sometimes manage a small client book, with a growth-focused mindset and a hands-on leadership style.

The role offers a salary package dependent on experience, based in South Brisbane with three in-office days (Mon-Wed) and new South Brisbane offices. Strong regional network and leadership capability are preferred.

Branch Manager | Commercial Insurance Broking | South Brisbane | Salary dependent on experience

An established national Insurance Brokerage with offices in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia. The Queensland branch has moved to new offices in South Brisbane.

About the Role

You’ll lead the Queensland branch and drive its growth in commercial insurance. The team is four: two Account Managers, an all-rounder who manages a book and runs the office, and an assistant. You may also manage a small book. This is a growth role, not a caretaker role.

About You

You’re a commercial broker with a track record of winning new business in Queensland. You may currently be a Branch Manager, a Senior Account Manager or an Account Director ready to lead a branch.

• Experience leading or mentoring a broking team
