Job summary

Hotel Woolstore 1888 in Sydney’s Darling Harbour is seeking a passionate Duty Manager on a part-time basis. You will oversee Front Office on shift, ensure personalised guest service, and support smooth hotel operations across departments.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience in hotel operations with leadership experience.
• Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to communicate with guests and team members at all levels.
• Calm, adaptable and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Opera Cloud PMS is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead Front Office operations and act as the key leader on shift.
• Support, coach and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Create genuine connections with guests and ensure memorable stays.
• Manage guest feedback and service recovery with confidence and care.
• Support reservations accuracy and assist with maximising hotel revenue opportunities.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Assist with rostering, planning and operational requirements.
• Be hands-on and flexible, supporting the wider hotel team when required.
