Job summary

Hotel Woolstore 1888, part of the Accor Handwritten Collection, is seeking a passionate Duty Manager to join the Front Office leadership on a part-time basis in Sydney. You will oversee frontline operations, ensuring personalised, memorable service and close collaboration with all departments.

We value hands-on leadership, guest-centric approaches, and a positive, inclusive team culture. Availability includes evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience in hotel operations, with previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Confident communicating with guests and team members at all levels.
• Calm, adaptable and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of hotel PMS systems, with Opera Cloud experience highly regarded.
• Enjoy being hands-on and leading from the front.
• Available to work a part-time rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead Front Office operations and act as the key leader on shift.
• Support, coach and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Create genuine connections with guests and ensure memorable stays.
• Manage guest feedback and service recovery with confidence and care.
• Support reservations accuracy and assist with maximising hotel revenue opportunities.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Assist with rostering, planning and operational requirements.
• Be hands-on and flexible, supporting the wider hotel team when required.
