Job summary

SITA is seeking a Senior Manager Service Operations (PSO Borders) to lead regional service operations, ensuring secure, reliable Border solutions and strong stakeholder engagement. The role emphasizes incident management, lifecycle governance and continuous improvement across a 24/7 operation.

You will oversee cross-functional teams, drive operational excellence, and align objectives with customer and business requirements while delivering reliable services and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology or related field.
• MBA or related field is a plus.
• ITIL and Lean Six Sigma certifications are highly desirable.
• Leadership and people management qualifications are desirable.
• Project management certification (PMP/Prince2) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day service operations activities 24/7 for service critical systems.
• Ensure service levels and operational commitments are achieved.
• Lead incident management, major incident response and operational recovery activities.
• Mentor and develop geographically dispersed service operations teams.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to align objectives with business needs.
• Oversee service transition, lifecycle management and onboarding of new services.
• Drive automation, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report on operational performance to senior stakeholders and drive improvements.
