Job summary

Vivid Exhibition and Print in Derrimut, Melbourne, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper who can also run day-to-day procurement. You will maintain accurate records in Xero and manage purchasing from order to delivery on-site.

The role requires GST/BAS knowledge, payroll processing, and coordination with suppliers, ensuring timely imports and customs documentation. You will bridge the office and warehouse floor to keep stock and records aligned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in Australia.
• Solid GST, BAS, payroll, STP and super knowledge.
• Procurement experience including raising POs.
• Familiar with import processes and customs documentation.
• Organised with ability to move between office and warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable in Xero.
• Do daily bank reconciliations and keep the ledgers clean.
• Process fortnightly payroll, including timesheet reconciliation, STP lodgement and superannuation.
• Prepare GST and BAS workings for the accountant to review.
• Handle month-end tasks: accruals, supplier statement reconciliations, and a basic P&L review.
• Raise and send purchase orders to local and overseas suppliers.
• Follow up confirmations, lead times and delivery dates.
• Keep supplier details, pricing and the purchasing records up to date.
• Work with the production floor to track consumable stock levels and reorder on time.
• Receive deliveries on-site, check them against POs, and record any shortages or damage.
