Job summary

Pilot Partners is a leading mid-tier accounting firm in Brisbane seeking an experienced bookkeeper for a part-time role (minimum four days per week). You will provide high-quality bookkeeping services across a portfolio of clients, handling payroll, compliance and timely financial records.

We value professionalism, reliability and strong organisation, with excellent attention to detail, client communication and workload management. Proficiency in MS Office and Xero is preferred.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper to join our team. You will provide high-quality bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients across a range of industries. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records, assisting with payroll and compliance requirements, and providing professional support to our clients.

We are looking for someone to join the team on a part‑time basis at a minimum of 4 days per week.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Professional client interactions
• Bank and income reconciliations
• Processing of invoices, bills, and payments for clients
• Payroll and superannuation management
• General ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of BAS/IAS work papers
• Provide clients with monthly management reports
• Payroll Tax
• Annual Workcover returns
• Xero file creation and assisting clients in transitions from other systems
• Process improvements

• Exposure to working with a range of businesses and industries

• Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
