Job summary

MADE - Shepparton is seeking applicants for permanent and casual meat processing roles in our facility in Victoria. You will assist with small stock slaughtering, boning and butchering, and processing operations using knives and specialized equipment. Emphasis on safety, hygiene and accurate product handling.

Responsibilities include packing, weighing, labeling for traceability, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Q-fever risk management and vaccination/screening compliance are mandatory.

Processing small stock in preparation for boning, butchering, or slicing. Use of knives and specialized meat processing equipment. Breaking and De-boning portions and primal cuts to required specifications.

Product and Carton Labelling Use of touch screen computer grading systems to Accessing and grading products into specific categories

Generation and application of labels for identification and traceability Quality monitoring of products. General Labouring Tasks

Performing a range of duties required in the daily production process. Packing and weighing of meat and meat products. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Preservation and classing of hides Q-Fever Requirement Due to the nature of work in a meat processing environment, all successful applicants must comply with our mandatory Q-fever risk management policy.

Vaccination/Screening: All candidates must be either Q-fever vaccinated or undergo a Q-fever screening and, if necessary, vaccination. Compliance: Proof of immunity or completed vaccination is a mandatory condition of employment.
