Job summary

Core Talent is seeking experienced Boilermakers and Welders for ongoing opportunities across fabrication and industrial projects in Perth. Roles include both workshop and site-based work with immediate starts and long-term potential.

Ideal candidates are trade-qualified or have proven welding experience, able to read drawings, and committed to high-quality workmanship with safety as a priority. Valid licence and transport are preferred for site work.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator or proven welding experience.
• Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Safety focused with a strong work ethic.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening if required.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding of structural steel and heavy components.
• MIG, TIG and Stick welding across a variety of materials.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
• General fabrication, assembly, repairs, and modifications.
• Operating fabrication equipment and hand tools safely.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control.
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Working independently and as part of established fabrication teams.

At Core Talent, we are currently seeking experienced and reliable Boilermakers and Welders for multiple ongoing opportunities across fabrication, manufacturing, engineering, and industrial clients throughout Metro Perth (North and South of the River).
These roles suit qualified tradespeople who are safety focused, take pride in producing high-quality work, and are confident working in busy workshop and site-based environments.
