Job summary

Programmed Skilled Workforce is hiring experienced Boilermakers and Fabricators for our Mt Thorley workshop. You will work on steel fabrication and welding, read and interpret engineering drawings, and contribute to safe, efficient production lines.

The role offers day and afternoon shifts, potential permanency, and a strong safety culture. Candidates must pass a pre-employment medical and D&A tests.

Qualifications

• Recognised Boilermaker/Fabrication Trade Qualification.
• Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A test.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding work (including passing a weld test).
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Material handling and processing activities.
• Working alongside maintenance and engineering crews.
• Operating forklifts, profile cutting equipment and managing materials where appropriately trained.
• Tackling various workshop tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
