Job summary

Job Connect in Beenleigh is seeking a trade-qualified Boilermaker for an afternoon shift in a large industrial maintenance team. Enjoy consistent hours, excellent pay and long-term security with regular overtime on offer.

The role focuses on preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and fabrication of mild and structural steel, ARC and MIG welding on fixed plant equipment such as crushers and screening gear. You will join a supportive team with opportunities to progress.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and upgrades on heavy fixed plant equipment.

• Weld using ARC and MIG on site and in workshop environments.
• Support crushers and screening equipment in the maintenance program.

Are you a Trade Qualified Boilermaker looking for consistent hours, excellent pay and long-term job security?

Job Connect is currently seeking a Boilermaker to join the maintenance team of a well-established national company based in the Beenleigh area.This is a long-term opportunity working Monday to Friday on night shift, with regular overtime available and genuine career progression for the right people.

The role offers

• $60.00 per hour (Monday to Friday)
• Regular weekend overtime available
• 50-60 hour weeks
• Monday to Friday

Afternoon shift (5:00pm - 1:00am)

About the role

Working within a large industrial maintenance team, you'll perform preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and upgrades on heavy fixed plant equipment including:

• Fabrication of Mild and Structural Steel
• ARC and MIG welding
• Crushers
• Screening equipment
• Associated fixed plant machinery

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same and you'll be working alongside experienced tradespeople in a well-supported environment.

Our Ideal Applicant will have:

• Confident with ARC and MIG welding with structural and mild steel
• Current Driver Licence
• Working at Heights and Confined Space (or willingness to obtain within your first week)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

Experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, mining, quarries, recycling, cement, concrete or fixed plant maintenance will be highly regarded, however candidates from other industrial maintenance backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
