Job summary

Skilled Jobs Australia is assisting Edinburgh SA with a full-time Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / Pressure Welders / Welders (First class) recruitment. The role focuses on manufacturing, repairing and fabricating various structural steel products, pressure vessels and pipes.

The successful candidate will have formal Boilermaker-Welder qualifications or equivalent, with AQF certificates and multi-year experience, and must be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a

Qualifications

Qualified as a Boilermaker-Welder through an apprenticeship or equivalent.
AQF Certificate III with at least two years of experience, or AQF Certificate IV with 12 months of experience.
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.
Cut marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines.

Responsibilities

Assembles, welds and repairs pressure vessels and pipes.
Manufactures, repairs and fabricates structural steel products and pressure vessels and pipes.
Prepare metal stock and cut, shape and finish to specifications.
Align parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Work efficiently alone or in a team environment.
