Australian Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water seeks skilled boilermaker/welder with hands-on metal fabrication experience. A current C class manual licence and citizenship/work rights are required, along with pre-commencement checks such as White Card and valid First Aid/CPR qualifications.

Applicants should have recent experience in metal fabrication, welding (MIG/TIG), involving stainless steel and hardox, with the ability to diagnose problems and work

Qualifications

• Recent hands-on metal fabrication experience within last 5 years.
• Experience welding MIG, TIG, aluminium, stainless steel and hardox.
• Experience in the building construction industry is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose problems and work independently with limited supervision.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate and repair metal structures across a range of materials.
• Perform MIG, TIG welding and related fabrication tasks.
• Carry out maintenance activities and diagnose issues with minimal supervision.
