Skilled Jobs Australia is seeking experienced Welders for a full‑time role in Edinburgh, SA. You will study blueprints, prepare stock, and perform structural welds on metal products, including pressure vessels and pipes, ensuring high quality and adherence to drawings.

Ideal candidates hold an ACQ Certificate III or have at least two years of on‑the‑job welding experience, with the ability to work under pressure and in a team. Salary ranges between $75k–$85k plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• ACQ Certificate III or equivalent with substantial on‑the‑job welding experience.
• Two years' on‑the‑job experience required; three years acceptable as substitute for the formal qual.
• Clear understanding of production drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good organisational skills and a flexible, can‑do attitude.
• Capable of working independently or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, drawings and determine specific job requirements.
• Prepare metal stock and mark out sections for fabrication.
• Cut and shape metal using hand tools, flame cutting torches and machines.
• Weld and fabricate using a variety of welding techniques.
• Inspect welds for precision and finish welds by cleaning and smoothing.
• Assemble, weld and repair pressure vessels and pipes.
