Job summary

Rapid Crushing & Screening Pty Ltd in Mackay, Queensland is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our team. This role focuses on fabrication, repairs and maintenance of our fleet of plant and equipment.

Carry out high-quality boilermaking and fabrication on crushing equipment, read engineering drawings, and weld with MIG/TIG. You will work with the area manager to meet production schedules while maintaining health and safety and delivering quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Boilermaker with a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication.
• Minimum 5 years post-trade experience in boilermaking.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Australian work rights and driver's licence are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality boilermaking and fabrication on crushing equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specs to ensure accurate work.
• Weld using MIG and TIG processes in multiple positions.
• Coordinate with the area manager to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure quality workmanship.
