Job summary

FMS Group is seeking experienced Field Boilermakers for a roving team across Mackay & Coalfields, Bowen Basin. You will perform maintenance and breakdown work on Rope Machine, Dragline and Shovel equipment, with a 4-day roster and minor outages.

A strong safety focus is essential. Ideal candidates hold a relevant trade qualification, current MR licence, Coal Board Medical and Standard 11, plus Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification required.
• Experience working on heavy machinery (Essential).
• Coal Board Medical required.
• Standard 11 Statement of Attainment required.
• Current MR Licence (Essential).
• Confined Space, GTA & Working at Heights required.
• Problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to liaise with management and clients.
• Uncompromising attitude to safety.
• Ability to meet site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance or breakdown work on heavy equipment.
• Roving across various sites in Mackay & Coalfields.
• Rope Machine, Dragline/Shovel maintenance.
