Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking experienced Boilermakers/Welders for a casual assignment in Osborne, NSW. The role starts ASAP with potential for extension through December 2026, working on large, complex fabrication projects with a safety-first environment.

You will perform heavy fabrication and welding (ARC/MMAW, TIG/GTAW) and plasma/LPG cutting while reading structural drawings and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen.
• National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months).
• White Card and Confined Space ticket (refreshed within the last 2 years).
• Minimum 2 years’ heavy industrial fabrication experience (defence, mining, shipbuilding or construction).
• Strong understanding of welding processes (MMAW/GTAW + cutting processes).
• Own vehicle and current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy fabrication and welding (ARC/MMAW and TIG/GTAW).
• Carry out plasma/LPG oxy cutting.
• Read and interpret structural drawings.
